He has such a soothing/sexy voice that draws you into the story, and he gives the characters so much individual personality and emotion! If there was something ‘wrong’ with his performance, I didn’t hear it. What did you find wrong about the narrator’s performance? The narrator was fabulous. The author does a great job in giving enough info to set the scene, but not so much that you lose track of the real story. Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this? Yes! So much of this story is in the tiny details. Fateful focuses more on the romance than the standard violent nature of the genre. How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter? I’ve always enjoyed a good romance between vampires and humans. I also love the unexpected direction this book takes on Vampire lore. The romance is sweet and clean, and the food sounds divine. I enjoyed the tight family relationships on both the vampire side and human side. I really love the mix of fantasy elements with the current world and time. What did you like about this audio book? So, with the organization, the book was separated into chunks, parts, and there were four of them. I actually ended up using a stanza as my senior quote this year, which I wasn’t even expecting. Otherwise, I found the poems to be thought provoking and meaningful, and my e-copy of the book is very heavily highlighted. And, when I really thought about it, my main problem was the organization. I had such conflicting thoughts on it, that I forced myself to sit back, and to ask myself what I had problems with it. Normally, when I review book, I have a rating in mind the moment I set it down. I would like to thank the people at Button Poetry for allowing me to have a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I thought the cover was interesting, so I decided to give it a shot! Why this book?: In all honesty, it was read now on NetGalley, and I was looking to get into poetry.
